Our mission is to bring joy, awareness, and support to our community through character-driven volunteerism. We strive to use creativity, compassion, and collaboration to uplift local charities, advocate for meaningful causes, and inspire hope in people of all ages. Through every event, every costume, and every interaction, we aim to make a positive impact — one smile at a time.

Organizations We Support
The Summit City Cause-Players are a community-driven group of volunteers who use creativity, character performance, and compassion to make a meaningful difference in Northeast Indiana. Through our Legion of Characters, we bring beloved heroes, villains, and icons to life — all with the goal of spreading joy, raising awareness, and supporting local charities.
Since our founding, we’ve partnered with a wide range of organizations and causes, helping raise funds for groups such as My Autism Ally and Relay for Life, while also championing awareness efforts for End Alzheimer’s, AIDS Awareness, Out of the Darkness, and many others. Whether we’re brightening a child’s day at a hospital visit, energizing a charity walk, or helping amplify a community cause, we believe in the power of imagination to inspire hope.
At our core, we are fans, families, and friends who choose to use our passions for good. Every appearance is an opportunity to uplift someone, spark a smile, and strengthen the community we love.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I Need a Superhero?
Just contact us at least six weeks in advance. We will rally the heroes and attend your event if we are not previously booked. Just fill out the “Request an Appearance” form from this site.
How Much Does It Cost to Hire Cosplay for a Cause Foundation?
We never charge for our fundraising and community event services, but we gladly take donations to help further our cause. If you are looking for a character(s) for a private event, such as a birthday party, feel free to message us. We have several cosplayers that offer this service at reasonable rates.
How Far will Cosplay for a Cause Foundation travel for an Event?
At this time, we are not taking on events that are more than around 150 miles from Fort Wayne, IN. If traveling expenses are included in your request, please feel free to message us!
Can I ask for a Certain Character?
Absolutely! Our cosplayers have a variety of cosplays and costumes. We work hard to meet your needs even if we must call on other organizations to help us out.
Can I join?
We welcome anyone and everyone having a passion for cosplay and for making a difference in their community. We allow any cosplayer from beginner to expert to join. You must attend two events posted on our public page and then if you are interested you can request an application. Once you have sent in your application the board will review it and get back to you as soon as possible.
